"Cosplay is creativity in your own perspective." Wak Interviews: Lala Cosplay.

LalaCosplay is a good friend and a long time member of the fandom community. She's an uber-talented cosplayer and she took some time to answer few questions. so here's my interview of Lady LalaCosplay.

Frank: What brought you to your first convention? tell me about your experience.

Lala: My first convention was 4 or 5 years ago , and it was at Konsplosion. I've always been into anime and gaming since I was little, and I had a friend tell me about the upcoming con. So, considering it was really close, I decided to attend. My experience was amazing, and it introduced me to the cosplay community. I always thought that cosplay was something like.. Sponsoring a game or show. I didn't know that everyday people could do it! So when I saw people cosplaying these amazing characters and sharing their passion with me, I feel in love. I've been going to Konsplosion ever since, and haven't missed a single time.

Frank: What was your first Cosplay, and how much did it cost?

Lala: My first cosplay was Rin Okumura from “Ao no Exorcist” (better known as Blue Exorcist”). I chose a character that I could really relate to emotionally at the time. I didn't

make his uniform or his sword bag, but I made his tail and my dad helped make the sword. I would say everything together would be around 80$.

Frank: What’s your favorite place to eat out at a Con?

Lala: I know. This might seem like a REALLY bad answer. But I don't eat a lot at con's. TRUST ME, I'VE GOTTEN BETTER THOUGH. I don't really eat out unless me and friends can easily walk together, or I just eat at the convention/hotel.

Frank: What would you like to say to newer members of the community?

Lala: Cosplay is creativity in your own perspective. It doesn't need to be accurate or not, as long as you're in love with the character, then express yourself! Don't rush. Take your time, and be confident with who you are!

Frank: What’s your next convention? What Cosplays can we expect?

Lala: My next convention is A2F (Arkansas Anime Festival) Spring.

And I want to add one more cosplan for Sunday.. But I'm not sure who!
